About Chris Daniele
California SEO Consultant
Back in 2003, I began my studies in information technology at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and it was there that I received my associate’s degree as well as certifications related to the IT industry. At the time, my focus was on beginning a career as a network administrator, and once I received my A+ Certification in computer repair I applied for and landed a job with Dell.
But after feeling unfulfilled repairing computers, I returned to school to study web design. Soon after school, I began applying for web design positions throughout the Inland Empire but had little success. I had almost given up when I received a call from Advanced Access, one of the largest real estate website hosting companies in the nation.
I was hired as a Customer Support Representative and after three months was promoted to the company’s New Accounts department. The task of this department was simple: welcome new customers to the company, assist them in the purchase of domains, and then design and deploy fully functional websites based on a design theme the customer had chosen.
Shortly after being hired, I began hearing about the emerging field of search engine optimization (SEO), a topic that had never been fully discussed in any of my web design classes. And when I found out that Advanced Access had their own marketing department, I had to learn more.
I began reading about SEO at every chance I had: everyday during breaks and lunch I would study the latest SEO news. I became glued to Sphinn, SEOBook.com, and Matt Cutt’s personal blog. I wanted to become a marketing specialist so badly that I used a portion of my savings to pay for online courses, including Bruce Clay’s SEO Code of Ethics and Lynda.com’s SEO Training class. To this day my education continues through constant participation in online forums, the reading of blogs, and attendance at search engine expos.
After vigorous studying, I began sharing my knowledge with my friends and family. One acquaintance was so impressed that she demanded I become her personal SEO consultant!
I took on her site as if it was my own, worked as hard as I ever had in my life, and performed every possible “white hat” trick I could think of… and it paid off! In a period of only one month I had raised her website to a #1 placement in both Google and Yahoo for her specific keywords. And the next thing I knew, everyone in my department was talking about my skills; supervisors were asking me about keyword research and co-workers began requesting that I do work on their sites.
After that, I decided SEO was the career path for me. I absolutely loved the field and my thirst for learning was never quenched. To this day, the compliments that mean the most come from people who tell me how much my advice has improved their business.
If you have a fledgling business or simply need help obtaining higher rankings in the search engine game, I would be honored to lend a helping hand!
This website was created as an outlet to allow me to share my SEO knowledge. If you have general questions about SEO, feel free to contact me and I may respond by creating a new blog post. I truly enjoy learning SEO and I believe that there is no better way to master what I am learning then to teach all that I have been taught.
